BRIDGEREGLEMENT VAN DE NVP

1. De bridgeclub kent een bestuur van drie leden, gekozen uit de club. Dit bestuur is verantwoordelijk voor de wedstrijdleiding, de locatie, het materiaal, de uitslagen, de financiën, jaarlijkse toernooien en eventuele cursussen. Het bestuur heet bridgecommissie (BC).

2. De BC regelt onderling de wijze waarop aan de club leiding wordt gegeven.

3. De club is opgericht voor de leden van de NVP die al ervaring hebben met het spelen op clubniveau.

4. De contributie voor NVP-leden is vastgesteld op 120 baht per speelochtend, introducés betalen 170 baht. In deze bedragen is 20 baht verdisconteerd voor de wedstrijdleider.

5. De BC en de leden zijn gerechtigd om introducees kennis te laten maken met de club. Dat kunnen mogelijkerwijs geen Nederlanders of Nederlandssprekenden zijn. De BC bepaalt per keer of introducees kunnen meespelen.

6. Het kasboek ligt voor ieder lid ter inzage in de materiaalkast. Maandelijks wordt dit kasboek bijgehouden door de BC.

7. Van de leden wordt verwacht:

a. dat zij zich behoorlijk kleden
b. dat zij hun mobiele telefoons uitschakelen tijdens de bridgeochtend
c. dat zij niet roken aan de speeltafels
d. zich houden aan de regels van het spel
e. zich sportief en vriendelijk gedragen
f. zich bij verhindering een etmaal van tevoren afmelden

8. Een lid van de NVP zonder bridgepartner heeft voorrang boven het meespelen van een introducé. Per keer kan worden bekeken of om wedstrijdtechnische reden een introducé mee kan spelen ja dan nee.

9. In de huidige speelruimte, Chateau Dale, is er een maximum aan deelnemers van 40. De commissie kan dit maximum aanhouden of, zo nodig, een andere locatie zoeken.

10. De uitslag van de wedstrijd krijgen de spelers per email toegezonden en komen op de website van de NVP onder de tab bridge

Voorop staat dat het bridgen in de club wordt gezien als een sociaal tijdverdrijf. Er wordt getracht zo goed mogelijk te spelen, waarbij het fundament van een prettige sfeer voorop staat.

A Nieuwelingen worden door de bridgecommissie van bovenstaande regel op de hoogte gesteld alvorens zij kunnen meespelen.

B Er is een ballotagecommissie die bestaat uit drie leden van de club welke toeziet op de naleving van deze regel.

C  De ballotagecommissie zal nieuwelingen, die zich niet aan bovenstaande regel kunnen houden een waarschuwing geven en bij herhaling van verdere deelname uitsluiten.

D  De uitspraak van de ballotagecommissie is bindend.

E  Alle spelers worden verzocht storend gedrag van spelers aan de ballotagecommissie te melden.

REGULATIONS OF THE BRIDGE CLUB OF THE NVP

(Dutch Association in Pattaya)

1.    The bridge club acknowledges a governing board of three members, chosen from members of the bridge club. This governing board is responsible for the conduct of the game, for the venue, for providing the material, for recording all results, for the finances, for occasional tournaments, and for instructional courses. The governing board is called the Bridge Commission (BC).

2. The BC decides, after discussion, the way in which the club is to be organized.

3. The club is formed from members of the NVP.

4. The BC has determined the contribution for each match to be 120 baht. Non-members and invitees pay 170 baht.

5. The BC and the members are entitled to invite guests to get to know the club. It may be that these guests are not Dutch or do not speak Dutch. In that case the BC will decide on each occasion whether or not invitees can take part.

6. The cash book is kept in the materials cupboard and is available for inspection by any member. This cash book is updated monthly by the treasurer.

7. Members are expected

a. to dress appropriately;
b. to switch off their mobile phone during play;
c. not to smoke at the game tables;
d. to abide by the rules of the game;
e. to behave in a friendly and sporting manner;
f. to notify the BC of their absence at least 12 hours before the game

8. A member of the NVP without a bridge partner shall be given priority over a guest.  The BC will decide whether or not it is possible for a guest to play.

9. Limitations of space at the present venue, Chateau Dale, restrict the number of participants to a maximum of 40. The BC can maintain this maximum or, if necessary, look for another location.

10. The result of the game appears a couple hours after playing on the computers of the participants and on the Internet site of the NVP under the bridge link

The most important thing is that playing bridge must be considered a
social pastime. Participants should do their utmost by playing well in a pleasant atmosphere.

A . The BC will inform newcomers of above-mentioned rules. 

B.  A three member ballot committee will ensure that members comply with these rules.

C.  If a newcomer does not comply, the ballot committee will give the person concerned a warning. In the event of a recurrence exclusion follows. 

D. The decision of the ballot committee is binding.

E.  All participants are requested to report disturbing behaviour to the ballot committee.
